"The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them" -Albert Eistein
The most successful people in the world are excellent problem solvers. It is unfortunate that throughout our lives we will have to face several challenges in order to grow but what's even more unfortunate is someone who is unable to grow because of their poor problem solving skills.
In order to become successful problem solvers, we must have clarity. Clarity means, allowing our perceptions to be shifted. The world as we see it is a reflection of our interpretation of it. Sometimes our perception can be limited by the values we have been conditioned to accept as truth over the years.
Clarity starts with being aware of our perceptions, our paradigms, our assumptions and the extent to which we have been influenced by our experiences when making decisions and conclusions. We must learn to test our own perceptions, take responsibility for them and accept that with a world that is infinitely growing, there must also be infinite ways to approach a situation. We must learn to allow our minds to be as fluid as water, and be able to listen to other people's perspectives before jumping to any conclusion.
Breakthroughs happens when we let go of old assumptions of what reality is and what it should be and welcome new realities. Ghandi once said "first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win" a powerful statement, If you wish to breakthrough an obstacle you must behave like the galaxy, that is be willing to constantly expand your horizon.
